Bach's cello suites have been my constant musical companions. For almost six decades, they have given me sustenance, comfort, and joy during times of stress, celebration, and loss. I'll release my final recording of the suites in August, the first step in a new journey to share this music with people seeking equilibrium and solace at a moment of unprecedented change. Over the next few years, I will play all six suites in one sitting many times in familiar and unlikely locations on six continents.
